I have more than 40 years of experience as a consultant in room acoustics and audio (electro-acoustics). I have been involved in the design of theatres, cinemas, concert halls, halls with multi-functionality, broadcast facilities, recording studios, control rooms etc.

Together with teachers from the Danish Music Academy and inspired by the German tonmeister education I was originator of the Danish “tonmeister” education at the Music Academy. The program started in 1997 and is still running with international students.
I am a former lecturer in acoustics at the National School of Performing Arts, at the Royal Danish Music Academy, and at the National Film School of Denmark. Regularly, I am a guest lecturer at the Technical University of Denmark, DTU.
In January 2009 I was the co-originator of the Danish Sound Technology Network, (“Danish Sound”), an innovation program financed by the Ministry of Innovation and Research. The idea is to gather universities, professional companies and individual specialists in one single network (www.lydteknologi.dk). Today Danish Sound is an independent society to facilitate innovation within the audio field.
